United States Military Academy West Point Summer Program: Summer Leaders Experience (SLE).

Summer Leaders Experience (SLE)-The first event is this Wednesday, January 31st , at 6pm EST and available through this link: https://fb.me/e/1yTCxcyEN or on our Facebook Page “West Point Admissions”. The event will start shortly before 6pm and it will be recorded and posted to our Facebook Page under “Videos” for viewing at any time. I, Major Richard Simpson (Northeast Regional Commander, USMA ’12), and Cadet Elijah Bellamy (2023 SLE Cadet Commander, USMA ’24) will cohost the event and discuss SLE and how to apply. Participants will be able to ask us live questions!

Current Juniors may apply for SLE and West Point’s Class of 2029 starting February 1st using the QR code on the flyer or on our website, westpoint.edu by clicking “apply now” in the top right of the landing page. The priority application deadline is 15 March 2024. We offer two sessions, 1-7 June and 8-14 June. Students love this program and interacting with West Point Cadets for the week. They get to complete 5 of 17 academic workshops, 2 military days, and they get to live in the barracks and eat in the mess hall. Candidates from all over the world attend this program and make lots of friends and cool memories to share.

We’d like to let you know that we have extended the free application week for SUNY Oswego. Students can apply for free to SUNY Oswego now through November 12th. Here’s what they need to do: Students must apply to SUNY Oswego using the SUNY Application or Common Application. If using the SUNY App:  On the payment page, it will note that SUNY Oswego will be covering application fees. If using the Common App:  There will be a question that says, “APPLY TO SUNY OSWEGO FOR FREE now through November 12th! Would you like SUNY Oswego to pay your application fee?"
