Bates: Virtual Access Program

 

Bates welcomes all seniors, including students who are historically underrepresented from higher education (such as first-generation-to-college and low-income students), to attend the Imagine Bates: Virtual Access Program on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM (EDT). We kindly ask you to share this invitation with your students and encourage them to attend. Our commitment to equity and inclusion is a guiding principle behind Imagine Bates — an event for students who express interest in being a part of our inclusive and pluralistic community. What is Imagine Bates? Attendees will join their fellow peers, Bates admission staff, and current Bates students for a unique virtual event on Zoom, where they can experience and hear (virtually) what life and learning is like at Bates. They'll meet current students and staff who will help them envision themselves at Bates as scholars, artists, athletes, and engaged community members. Bates is a community of irrepressibly enthusiastic, unapologetically smart, boldly individual, radically aware, and amazingly friendly and supportive people.
