 I am writing to invite you and your students to the upcoming BEST of U Consortium – Study in the UK Info Session & College Fair on Wednesday 20 September.

 

The event will be held at Dwight School - 18 West 89th Street New York, NY 10024.

 

Who are the BEST of U Consortium?

We are a group of 4, Top ranked UK and World universities (Bristol University, Durham University, Newcastle University and the University of York) who travel together throughout the USA informing students of the opportunities and benefits of studying in the UK.

 

Why are we hosting an event?

In recent years, the UK has become an increasingly popular option for US students wanting to study abroad for their full degree. This is mostly because of the time and cost savings that can be gained from our intensive 3-year bachelor degrees, as well as the international experience we offer on our campuses and the ability to explore the rest of Europe whilst living and studying in an English speaking country.

 

The event and fair will give a chance for you and your students to learn about the application process, the differences between the UK and US systems and to explore each university in more detail.

 

The evening will follow the following schedule: 

 

5:30-5:45PM: Best of U arrives and sets up
5:45-6:00pm: Students and parents arrive 
6:00-6:45pm: Why choose to study in the UK and how to find your best fit
6:45-7:15pm: University presentations
7:15- 8:00pm: Mini college fair: An opportunity to chat with University representatives individually.

We have put together a poster to promote the event, which I have attached to this email. We would appreciate if you could display this in your school and send it out to your seniors, juniors and sophomores.
