Application Fees Waived

As a reminder, students can now apply to Miami for free. To remove barriers for students who want to earn a Miami degree, we're waiving our application fee for students who apply by Nov. 1. By pairing an application fee waiver with our existing test-optional policy, we’ve simplified our application so students can fit applying to Miami into their busy schedules. Students should choose "Miami Fee Waiver" when applying. We now accept both the Common Application and the Coalition Application.

Honors College

To be considered for the Honors College, students will only need to indicate their interest in the Honors College on their admission application. No supplemental application is required. Students in the Honors College will also be considered for the Presidential Fellows Program and Prodesse Scholarship. Dec. 1 is the firm deadline for students to complete their application for admission for the Presidential Fellows Program and the priority deadline for the Honors College and Prodesse Scholarship. More information is available on the Honors College website.

Fall Open House

Please encourage your students to join us in Oxford, Ohio, for our Fall Open House on Saturday, Sept. 23. They will spend the majority of the day with the academic division they are most interested in (chosen during registration). During the academic session, they will learn about their major(s) of interest; meet faculty, staff, and current students; and see the academic buildings their classes may be in. In the afternoon, there will be optional sessions to attend, including admission and financial aid presentations, Honors College presentations, campus tours, and residence hall tours.

Bridges Program

The deadline for students to apply to the Bridges Program is Sept. 25. If you have students who may be interested in this overnight diversity event, please encourage them to apply. During the Bridges Program, students will be able to experience life as a college student by engaging with current students and professors in the classroom, eating in a dining hall, and staying overnight in a residence hall. Students who complete the Bridges Program and enroll on the Oxford campus for fall 2024 will be eligible to receive the Bridges Program scholarship. More information is available at MiamiOH.edu/bridges.
