Virtual Service Academy Night on Sept. 27: U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association and Foundation

U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association and Foundation Senator Kristin Gillibrand is hosting a Virtual Service Academy Night on Sept. 27 beginning at 6 p.m. to learn about the application and nomination process. Representatives from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and the other federal service academies will be there to answer questions.   Here   is a flyer with details and RSVP information that you can share with your students.   Four of the five academies – U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), U.S. Military Academy (USMA), U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) – require applicants to apply for and receive a congressional nomination from either a U.S. Representative or a U.S. Senator.  In addition to their two U.S. senators, applicants to USMMA may apply to any and all members of congress in their state.  This affords USMMA applicants more opportunities to secure these coveted appointments.   High school and middle school students interested in attend

12th Annual Black College Expo

  12th Annual Black College Expo  Join the 12th Annual Black College Expo on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Medgar Evers College (1650 Bedford Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11225) from 10am to 4pm. Seniors, juniors, and college transfer students will get the chance to meet one on one with HBCUs and a variety of other colleges and universities. All are welcome.
